In the first episode of Dr Sue's Surgery (also the first in the 'Transitions' series) Sue looks at Transitions in the Early Years - how young children cope emotionally and physically with transitions into Reception, the importance of the Key Person approach and how this role support the child and family.

Sue makes links to the EYFS Statutory Framework and covers specific questions, built into the presentation, that were submitted by participants in advance of the original live session.

The first module is a copy of handouts that you might find useful to have to hand while watching / working through the recorded presentation and to keep for future reference plus some useful links.

The second module is the recorded presentation itself, for you to watch at your leisure; you can pause and rewind as you see fit and you also have access to refer to this time and time again.

Finally, the third and last module is the reflective questions that Sue poses at the end of her presentation in a downloadable format where you can jot down your thoughts if you wish.

Sue will be holding monthly episodes of Dr Sue's Surgery commencing in September 2023, covering various subjects to support you in your Practice. Keep in touch with Sue on Social Media or check back here on the website for announcements of future episodes.
